- אוֹנְקְלוֹס, אָנְקְלוֹסpr. n. m. (Ocellus?) Onklos, the alleged translator of the Pentateuch into Chaldaic, freq. surnamed הַגֵּר the proselyte; often identified with Aquila, the alleged author of a Greek translation of the Bible; v. עְקִילָס.
